Just as we’re encouraged by the Girl Scout Law, when we start with being a sister to EVERY Girl Scout, we can change the world.
Nearly 75% of our 41-county service area is designated as economically distressed. Girl Scouting in these communities is essential to provide a stable outlet for girls to grow, lead, and thrive. Furthermore, studies prove the benefits of girl-led leadership opportunities are greater for girls of lower-socioeconomic status.
We believe Girl Scouting is for every girl, regardless of her circumstances or her family’s financial situation.
We're committed to offering need-based financial assistance to help cover:
- membership fees;
- local & council-sponsored activities;
- events, trips, or projects that go beyond the ordinary troop program and enhance the Girl Scout experience; and
- summer camp experiences.
